Somatic Breathwork Self Practice

Enjoy this mini breathwork self practice in the privacy of your own home. Normally, a somatic breathwork session lasts about an hour and involves a lot of guidance from your practitioner.

This practice is short and quick. A chance for you to dip your toes into the process.

Use this audio anytime you need to connect to yourself, release emotion, unblock stuck energy, or just get in touch with what’s really going on inside.

You can do it daily, or as needed.

Breathing instructions:

Deep, circular breathing in and out through your mouth.

Send the breath all the way down to the bottom of your belly.

No pause or break between the inhale and exhale.

Find your own pace.

Sit or lie down for the practice. Allow your body to move naturally. Allow sound to come out if you feel the urge. This is a chance for YOU to express emotion any way it comes up.

When I cue the breath hold, you’ll hold your breath as long as you can. Start breathing on your own whenever you need too.

After the breath hold, you’ll breath in and out through your nose. If you cannot breath through your nose, that’s ok! Mouth breathing is acceptable.

I’ll guide you through the whole process in the audio!
