Keto Bite… Why are we doing this?
Come back to this keto bite anytime you loose track of why you are doing keto. Ketosis simply means that you are burning fat for fuel and producing ketones. Sometimes we loose site of the simple things, and get wrapped up in these thoughts:
“I have to be perfect with my food”
“I have to be in ketosis all the time”
“If I eat carbs, I’ll get fat/sick/unhealthy”
“I never get to eat my favorite foods again”
“Keto is too extreme for me”
“Keto is an all or nothing diet”
Remember… your body loves to be in ketosis, but it should also have the ability to burn carbs/sugar once in a while too. The ultimate goal is diet variation. We all should strive to have a body that thrives on a vast variety of diets, foods, lifestyle choices, and situations. The goal is NOT to find the perfect diet and eat that way every day for the rest of eternity.
